The ways in which we can use the tarot are virtually unlimited. Some common areas of life that people ask the tarot about are their love lives, their careers, and their finances. But honestly, you can bring whatever you want to the cards and see what they have to say! Typically readers suggest that you have a specific question in mind when you have a reading done, but you don't always have to. For instance, when you'd prefer a general overview of things you don't need to worry about formulating the perfect question. In fact, often when we start from a zoomed-out view questions naturally arise that we can then explore further. Other times there might be a specific spread to explore and a question isn't necessary (as is the case when working with ancestral tarot, for example). I offer two lengths for in-person readings: 50 minutes and 25 minutes. Generally the longer reading is best for situations like the one I described above, when you're not really sure what you want to ask about and you're open to seeing where the story goes. The 25-minute reading is great when you've got a specific question and you're after a specific answer, or if you don't necessarily want to go too deep with the reading. If you're a repeat client and you're just checking in, this is likely the perfect length for you. If your schedule is as hectic as mine, you may prefer an email reading. These are done asynchronously. Once you've purchased the reading we'll have some correspondence so I know what you're looking for, and then once your reading is finished you'll be sent a PDF copy of the reading with pictures of the cards and spread to illustrate the text. 50-Minute Tarot Consultation
This is typically the ideal length of time to allot for your reading if you have a specific question or concern that is more detailed or complex, involves a lot of moving pieces or other people, or if you have multiple smaller questions or concerns that might be all related. This is the standard length for readings that begin to address life's bigger questions or challenges. Please be aware that I will not read on the same subject for you again unless at least six months have passed or we are directly continuing a previous reading. (In other words, don't just keep asking the same question hoping for a different answer.)

25-Minute Tarot Consultation
Typically return clients just checking in will not need a full hour reading. This session length is ideal for a quick general reading, a brief check-in on progress, or for a question or inquiry that you know will not need to be explored in more detail than time permits. Please be aware that I will not read on the same subject for you again unless at least six months have passed or we are directly continuing a previous reading. (In other words, don't just keep asking the same question hoping for a different answer.)

E-mail Tarot Consultation
An email reading provides flexibility in scheduling, price, and availability that can't be matched by an in-person reading. Not only will you receive a PDF copy of your reading (the average length is 1-3 pages per card pulled), including high-resolution, full-color pictures of each of the cards, but any follow-up conversation is encouraged should you have any questions about the reading or need any clarification. Essentially, you'll have me on retainer for a window of time after your reading, unlike in-person readings that end when you leave the table. Typically an email reading will cost between $20.00 - $90.00, depending on the estimated length of the reading being requested.
